A classic home for a living blog

A blog can hold more than a sequence of announcements. It can become a notebook, a collection of essays, a reading journal, or the public record of an independent practice. 3classic gives that growing body of work a familiar home.

Three columns, one publication

The centre is for the writing. A left sidebar keeps navigation and useful entry points close by. A right sidebar adds context: recent stories, a short introduction, a category list, or a carefully chosen link. The compact masthead makes room for a small, clear menu.

On a smaller screen, the frame folds around the story. Navigation and context open through separate controls, so the text can use the available width. The aim is continuity: a reader should recognise the same publication on a laptop and a phone.

Familiar tools, lasting content

3classic is a Classic Theme. You publish with WordPress posts and pages, assign ordinary menus, and arrange widgets in the sidebars and footer. There is no required page builder or theme-specific content format.

Published by wordpress.im, 3classic develops a design derived from Tatami by Elmastudio under GPL v2 or later. It is independent of our separate 3columns publication theme.
